Terms of service

Effective 21 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SellerWise LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“SellerWise”, “we”, “us”). They cover this website, the SellerWise app and dashboard, and the SellerWise connector you add to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT (together, the “service”). By creating an account, connecting an Amazon account or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you use SellerWise for a company, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it, and “you” means that company.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

The short version

  • Your data stays yours. We use it only to run SellerWise for you, and we never sell it, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models.
  • Access is read-only by default. If you turn actions on, nothing changes in your Amazon account until you confirm it, and you're responsible for the changes you confirm.
  • Answers come from your data and AI, and they can be wrong or out of date. Check before you act.
  • Before you connect an AI assistant, turn off its setting for training on your conversations, because Amazon doesn't allow its data to be used to train AI.
  • SellerWise is free today, and we'll never charge you without your agreement.
  • SellerWise is independent. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.
  • You can disconnect at any time, and we delete your Amazon data within 30 days.

This summary is a guide. The terms below are what apply.

1. The service

SellerWise connects to your Amazon seller and advertising accounts and answers questions about your business, such as sales, advertising, inventory, fees and listings, in the SellerWise dashboard and in the AI assistants you connect.

To use it, you need an Amazon seller account that you're authorized to connect. To use it in an AI assistant, you also need an account with that assistant's provider. At launch, SellerWise supports Amazon US (amazon.com).

We keep improving SellerWise, so features may change. Some may be marked early access or beta; those are offered as they are and may change or end.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and use SellerWise for your business, not for personal or household use.
  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity under your account, including requests from the AI assistants you connect. If you think someone has used your account without permission, email hello@sellerwise.us straight away.
  • You can't use SellerWise if US law, including sanctions and export rules, bars you from receiving it.

Joining the waitlist doesn't create an account. The privacy policy explains how we use your waitlist details.

3. Connecting Amazon

When you connect Seller Central or Amazon Ads, you authorize SellerWise to access your data through Amazon's Selling Partner API and Amazon Ads API, on your behalf, so that we can provide the service to you. You confirm that you have the right to give that authorization, for example as the account's owner or as an admin with the owner's permission. If you connect an account for a client, you confirm that the client has authorized it.

  • From Seller Central: orders, sales and settlements; inventory, shipments and listings; and fees and reviews.
  • From Amazon Ads: campaigns, budgets, bids, targeting, search terms and performance figures such as impressions, clicks, spend and sales.

We use this data to answer your questions and, if you turn actions on, to make the changes you confirm. We request only the access those features need. We don't request your buyers' personal information, such as their names, addresses or phone numbers, and we never ask for or store your Amazon password.

You can revoke access at any time in SellerWise, or in Seller Central under Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps.

Your agreements with Amazon continue to govern your use of Amazon. Amazon runs its APIs, decides what data they provide and can change or limit them, which may change or limit what SellerWise can do. We aren't responsible for Amazon's services or for the data Amazon provides.

4. Changes to your Amazon accounts

SellerWise is read-only by default. If you turn on actions, SellerWise, or an AI assistant using SellerWise, can propose changes such as adding negative keywords or adjusting bids and budgets. A change is made only after you confirm it. It's made through Amazon's APIs, and Amazon may reject or delay it.

Review each change before you confirm it. You're responsible for the changes you confirm and their results, including advertising spend, which Amazon bills to you. You can turn actions off at any time.

5. AI assistants and answers

You choose which AI assistants to connect, such as Claude from Anthropic or ChatGPT from OpenAI. Their providers offer them under your own account and their own terms, not ours. When you ask a question, SellerWise sends the assistant the data it needs to answer, as the privacy policy describes. You can revoke any assistant from your SellerWise dashboard.

Amazon doesn't allow data from its APIs to be used to train AI models. Before you connect an assistant, turn off any setting that lets its provider use your conversations to train or improve its models, and keep it off while the assistant is connected. Business and team plans often have it off by default. We don't control what a provider does with the data you ask it about.

SellerWise is an automated system, and so are the assistants. Figures such as totals, ACOS and margins are calculated by SellerWise from the data Amazon provides. The assistant's AI model then writes its answer from those figures. SellerWise works from a copy of your data that it syncs from Amazon. That copy can lag behind your Amazon account, and Amazon can revise recent figures, such as advertising sales, for several days.

Answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. Answers aren't financial, legal, tax or accounting advice.

6. Your data

You keep all rights to your data: the Amazon data you connect and anything you send us. You allow SellerWise to store, process, display and transmit your data only to provide, secure and support the service for you, as the privacy policy describes.

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising or marketing, share it with other customers, combine it with other customers' data, use it to build benchmarks or to analyze Amazon's own business, or use it to train or improve AI models. We share it only with the AI assistants you connect and with the service providers that run SellerWise for us, under contracts that limit them to that work. Our own staff and contractors access it only when they need to, to run, secure or support the service. We handle data from Amazon's APIs as Amazon's policies for those APIs require, including its data protection requirements.

We stop collecting your Amazon data and delete it within 30 days, including from backups, when you disconnect the account, close your SellerWise account, Amazon asks us to, or our access to it otherwise ends. We keep something longer only when the law, for example tax law, requires it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

7. Acceptable use

Use SellerWise only for your own business and within the law. Don't:

  • connect an Amazon account you aren't authorized to connect, or try to access anyone else's data;
  • use SellerWise, or data you get through it, in a way that breaks your agreements with Amazon or Amazon's policies, such as contacting buyers in ways Amazon doesn't allow or manipulating reviews or rankings;
  • copy, sell or resell SellerWise, or offer it to others as a service, without our written permission;
  • use SellerWise to build or train a competing product;
  • reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it, or get around its security or usage limits;
  • disrupt or overload the service, or access it by automated means other than the AI assistants and connectors we support;
  • upload malicious code, or test the service's security without our permission. To report a security issue, follow the steps in the privacy policy.

8. Fees

SellerWise is free today. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before they apply to you. You'll pay only if you choose a paid plan, at the price and on the terms shown before you agree.

Amazon's fees, your advertising spend and your AI assistant subscription are separate. You pay them to Amazon and to the assistant's provider.

9. Our intellectual property

SellerWise owns the service, including its software, design and brand. While you follow these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business. We keep all rights we don't expressly give you.

Amazon and all related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Claude and ChatGPT are trademarks of their owners. SellerWise isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, Anthropic or OpenAI. We use their names only to say what SellerWise works with.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using SellerWise at any time. Disconnect your Amazon accounts and revoke your AI assistants in the dashboard, and email hello@sellerwise.us to close your account.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or Amazon's policies, if your use puts other users, Amazon or SellerWise at risk, if the law requires it, or if Amazon ends or limits our access to its APIs. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If your use breaks Amazon's policies, we may also tell Amazon. If we stop offering SellerWise altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.

When your access ends, your right to use the service ends, and we delete your data as described in Your data. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and general terms continue to apply.

11. Disclaimers

SellerWise is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that answers will be accurate or complete, or that using SellerWise will improve your sales, advertising costs or profits.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • SellerWise isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales, data, goodwill or advertising spend, even if we were told they were possible.
  • Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim and US $100.

These limits apply whatever the legal theory. They don't limit liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

13. Indemnity

You'll defend and indemnify SellerWise and its members and employees against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of the law or of your agreements with Amazon, or your connecting an account or data you weren't authorized to connect.

14. Governing law and disputes

The laws of the State of Delaware, USA, govern these terms, without regard to their conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, email us first at hello@sellerwise.us, and we'll both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and we both consent to it. Either of us may ask any competent court for urgent relief, such as an injunction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post any changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects you, we'll email account holders at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you keep using SellerWise after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply. If you don't agree with them, stop using SellerWise and close your account.

16. General terms

  • These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and SellerWise about the service.
  • If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't waived it.
  • You can't transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, and we'll tell you if we do.
  • Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
  • We send notices to the email address on your account. Send notices to us at hello@sellerwise.us.
  • You and SellerWise are independent. These terms don't create a partnership, agency or employment.
